Jan. 7th, 2010 10:16 am... because the new Doctor Who was disappointed at not being "ginger"?

What up with people?
And in other news... once again the Australian Government completely fails to live up to their election promises and stop the Japanese Whalers from hunting in our souther - and protected - waters. Thanks to their total lack of interest and lack of guts to make a stand, the crew of the Andy Gil were mowed down - and their boat cut in half - by a whaling ship about 10 times its size. As a (land) member of Sea Shepherd, it's almost embarassing to have to have other folks coming here to protect our waters and our sea life because my own government won't make a stand.
Thank God nobody was too seriously injured... but this is getting ridiculous. I shudder to think what it will take before Kevin Rudd and Peter Garrett actually do the right thing and stop the slaughter of whales in our oceans.
