The lovely Mare sent me a DVD of Living Out Loud, so spent the last couple of days ripping and compiling clips from the film.

A couple a still in the process of uploading - ah, the joys of ADSL! - but fwiw, I've just added about a dozen of the clips to MSOL. The clips are of various length, and are of scenes featuring Michael (obviously!)

Needless to say, beware spoilers if you haven't seen the film yet. :-)

Links on the news page.

Enjoy!

Night all!

... for 'Lead Performance by a Male in a Feature Length Drama', for "Stargate: Continuum".

Yay! :-)

Congrats, Michael! :-)

A few more details in the usual spot, though more news/details (and hopefully photos!) to come in the next day or so!

... it's "intelligent world population", according to Michael. :-)

Michael was interviewed by phone recently by a gal from the Apex Book Company. The interview covers such subjects as "Living Out Loud", "Burn Notice" and Michael's status as a "genre icon". Oh, and MSOL gets a mention, too.

Details and a link in the usual spot. :-)

Last year we had the chance to briefly interview Anne Wheeler, who directed Michael's Hallmark film, "Living Out Loud". Alas, the film's distribution was delayed - if memory serves Michael said at a con there was some dispute or issue about owning rights or something like that. So we held off posting the interview until the film was scheduled to air.

Anywho, the interview is now up on MSOL. Among other things, Anne had a couple of nice things to say about working with Michael both on "Living Out Loud" and "Suddenly Naked". :-)

News update in the usual spot, or if you want to skip straight to the interview, go here.

Oh - and have done the lemming thing and created a twitter account for MSOL. Figure given the trend towards it  - though read last week the sustain rate is much lower than Facebook and MySpace, so will be interesting to see if Twitter is around this time next year - figured it was a good way for people to get updates on...er... the updates! So if you have a Twitter account, or check them out now again and want to know when MSOL is updated via Twitter, go to the MSOL Twitter listing. It will only be used for update notifications.

So another weekend gone... where the heck do they go??!!

Have a good week, everybody!

Just spent a few hours transcribing the Sci-Fi Talk Interview with Michael and posted it on MSOL. (Boy that lad can talk... and fast! *g*)

You can also download the MP3 for the whole show, with Michael's interview starting around the 10 minute mark.

Details in the usual spot.

Enjoy!

... well, not Susan!  (God, does that date me? *g*)

Finally got around to going through a bunch of pics the good folk at Insight Film Studios gave us for Michael's latest film - Desperate Escape.  (Living Out Loud was actually completed before Desperate if I recall.. but was delayed a year in airing).

So, herewith a few....

As the film hasn't aired beyond a cable channel in Canada (once so far), probably an idea to...

Now you can. :-)

Lifting it from the site cos I'm lazy and have to get off my ass and do some stuff today...  :-)

From Monday next week (US time) an online Q&A form will be posted on MSOL through which you'll be able to send Michael a question or two... or three.

The form will be open for question submission for about 3 or 4 days. Once all the questions are in, they'll be collated, sifted a little to reduce duplication, and sent off to Michael.

Once the answers are back - timing of which will depend on Michael's schedule, of course! - they'll be posted on the site.

(Note: While it would be nice to promise that every question will be sent and/or answered, given the volume of questions, it's likely some will be missed.)

So get the questions ready! The Q&A form will go live early Monday morning, U.S. time.

Feel free to spread the news far and wide. Link to use is on the usual news page.
